NanotechItaly 2012

Nanotechnologies, in connection with the other EU Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), are recognized as the drivers to address the challenges indicated by the Europe 2020 Agenda and also by the Italian National Research Programme.

The three day event, organized by AIRI/Nanotec IT, Veneto Nanotech, the National Research Council (CNR) and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), will highlight how nanotechnologies can contribute to answer these challenges and promote competitiveness and responsible innovation in a variety of strategic sectors that will shape future growth.

The leading themes of the conference will be:

Advanced materials for improved use of resources

Industrial manufacturing, processes and production; multifunctional, lightweight materials; multisector sustainable solutions

Surface technologies, CNT, grafene, nanodiamonds and other carbon based nanomaterials; nanocomposites; nanoporous materials and aereogels; nano-cyristalline metals, metal oxides; nanofibers; nanometrology, etc.

Health Care

Improving the lifelong health and wellbeing of all

In vitro and in vivo diagnostics; therapeutics and theranostic; personalised medicine; biostructures, regenerative medicine; biosensors; etc.
